Babcock State Park
Select from 13 standard log cabins located along Glade Creek, five standard frame cabins and two ADA-accessible cabins. All cabins come fully-equipped with everything you might need for an enjoyable getaway, including modern appliances and housekeeping materials.
Babcock is one of the state’s most popular and photographed natural areas, so be sure to bring you camera and snap a selfie in front of the iconic grist mill!
Pipestem Resort State Park
There are two Awesome August options at Pipestem Resort State Park: cabins and lodges. Rent one of the park’s 26 fully equipped, two-to-four bedroom cabins, during the last two weeks of August and receive 20% off your stay! The discount applies to midweek cabin rentals (Sunday through Thursday), and a minimum two-night stay is required. Don’t forget to bring your pet along, because 13 of Pipestem’s cabins are pet-friendly!
Pipestem Resort has two popular lodges, McKeever and Mountain Creek. Stay any midweek night (Sunday through Thursday) during the last two weeks of August and receive a 15% off discount! McKeever Lodge has 113 modern guest rooms and suites, and the lodge’s amenities include a pool, saunas, restaurant and wireless access. Pet-friendly rooms are available.
The 30-room Mountain Creek Lodge is accessible only via a 3,600-foot aerial tram ride to the bottom of the Bluestone Gorge. Rooms offer all modern conveniences plus a relaxing view of the Bluestone River. The on-site Mountain Creek Restaurant is a gourmet restaurant and serves dinner by reservation only.
