Under Superintendent supervision, duties include but are not limited to selling grocery and gift
shop items, conducts inventory and orders stock, maintains facility cleanliness. The Store
Manager maintains inventories and works closely with the Park Superintendent to set wholesale
prices for items to be sold. Schedules Store Clerks and Boat Dock attendants. Provides training and counseling to staff regarding job expectations. Documents any employee misconduct for
use in progressive disciplinary actions. Handles customer complaints and provides accurate
interpretation of park rules and regulations.

Special Requirements:

Must have good public relation skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations in a controlled
and expedient manner. Must demonstrate good organizational skills. Must have the ability to
understand and follow oral/written instructions. Must have and maintain Health Department
Food Handling certification. Certification in Basic First Aid and CPR is not required but is
encouraged. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Valid driver’s license is required.
