DUTIES:

Under general supervision, temporary employees in this position perform security work at state recreation areas as needed. Work involves periodic inspection and patrol of buildings, grounds, offices, and equipment to prevent fire, theft, vandalism, illegal activities, and other unauthorized use. Employee may register campers and collect fees, plow snow and perform other maintenance tasks, collect trash, clean rest rooms and bathhouses, respond to afterhours guest requests, and perform work as needed or required.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge of public safety practices, ability to respond quickly in case of an emergency, and must be able to operate automobile and possess a valid driver’s license. Must be able to serve guests in a positive and friendly manner.

Shift will be from 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM.
