SUMMARY:Full Beaver Moon Hike: North Bend
DESCRIPTION:Humankind has had a long and interesting relationship with the full moon. It has cemented its place in folklore\, acted as a signal for farmers and signified the changing of the seasons. \nThe full moon of October is most commonly known as the Full Beaver Moon.\nSpend the evening exploring the wooded hills of North Bend as we traverse the Overlook Trail. We will discuss lore\, myth and other nighttime nature fun facts. \nMeet the naturalist at the River Run Campground Check-in station at 5:30 PM This is a 1.6-mile hike with easy graded tread.  \nMake sure to dress appropriately for winter conditions and wear closed toe shoes.
