SUMMARY:Geology Rocks!: Canaan Valley
DESCRIPTION:A state since 1963\, West Virginia was actually millions of years in the making. The mineral wealth and natural beauty of West Virginia owe much to the geologic processes that began eons ago. The evening program on Thursday\, July 21 at 7:00 p.m. is a program that Jim offers\, explains and explores the mysteries of rock. This program is located in the Pine Room at Canaan Valley Lodge. \nThe morning of July 22 at 9:00 a.m. attendees roll out for a hike to learn about geology\, topography and more. Meeting at Blackwater River Trail located at the Golf Course Parking Lot. The West Virginia Geological Survey folks are the experts presenting this program series.
