SUMMARY:Paper Airplane Flying Contest – Pipestem Resort State Park
DESCRIPTION:📍Black Bear Patio Stage \n\n\n\nPipestem Resort State Park hosts the family-friendly Paper Airplane Flying Contest\, the second in a six-part series to find the regional “Champion of All Paper Flyers.” This free event invites all ages to compete across three categories: Junior Aviators (12 and under)\, Teenage Pilots (13–17)\, and Master Engineers (18 and over). All planes must be built on-site with provided materials\, ensuring a level playing field. Competitors will build and fly two types of planes: “Jetfighters” (standard 8 1/2″ x 11″ paper for speed/maneuvers) and “JumboJets” (larger 11″ x 17″ paper for distance/glide). \n\n\n\nDivision champions earn points toward the Grand Championship title. DESCRIPTION:📍Black Bear Patio Stage\n\n\n\nThe “Bigfoot Hollerin’ Contest” is back again at Pipestem Resort State Park. This year\, the contest will take place at the Patio Stage of the Black Bear Grill in the McKeever Lodge. The call must last at least five seconds and no more than 30 seconds. Three age groups can participate: 12 and under\, 12 to 17 and the open class of anyone 18 and over. Her music is a unique and compelling blend\, rooted deeply in the sounds of roots music\, country\, folk\, Americana\, and bluegrass\, all interwoven with a profound sense of inspiration. This distinct musical tapestry has resonated powerfully with both a devoted fanbase and discerning industry leaders. \n\n\n\nDelnora has received significant recognition for her work\, particularly within the Inspirational Country Music genre. She has earned multiple accolades at the Inspirational Country Music Awards\, including “New Artist of the Year” and “Inspirational Song of the Year.” More recently\, her talents were celebrated when she was awarded “Music Video of the Year” for her moving work\, “Man at the Well\,” at the International Country Gospel Music Association’s annual gathering.
