For seven years\, he was the driving force and primary songwriter for the celebrated Appalachian stompgrass band\, The Wild Rumpus\, a group that gained widespread popularity across the festival\, concert\, and club circuits. Their extensive performance history includes appearances at major events such as Merlefest\, Bristol Rhythm and Roots Reunion and the American Music Awards (AMA) conference. During his tenure with The Wild Rumpus\, Andrew wrote nearly all the material for their three successful studio albums.
