SUMMARY:Civil War Days: Twin Falls
DESCRIPTION:Wyoming County Historical Museum presents a Civil War reenactment. Everyone is invited. Reenactment participants set up camp and prepare for battle Cannon and gun fire echo across the park at different times during the event. Saturday evening\, July 15\, 2023 includes a night firing of the cannons. \nThis is a family friendly event and is held yearly in Wyoming County. The weekend explores the events\, personal stories\, weaponry\, clothing\, food\, dance\, etc. during the American Civil War. Attendees may take the opportunity to explore\, learn and have conversation with reenactors about the way our ancestors lived in the mid 1800s and the impact the Civil War had on their lives and on Wyoming County. \nThis is a free event. Pickleball is played on the old tennis court with a net in the middle. Some describe it as playing ping pong but standing on the table\, Similar to tennis but served underhand and less running. The ball is light – it’s the weight of a whiffle ball. The paddle is similar to a racquetball paddle\, but about twice that size.
