DESCRIPTION:The 16th annual Art-in-the-Park series is a juried art fair that provides public access to fine artisans located in the Berkeley Springs region of West Virginia. Nationally known artists exhibit at this event\, and the best part is artisans are local residents. \n\n\n\nShows are rain or shine from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and located across the street from the Farmers Market. Art-in-the-Park is free to attend and open to the public. DESCRIPTION:Live birds of prey at Watoga State Park are presented by the Three Rivers Avian Center (TRAC) on Sunday\, July 2\, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. The educational birds are a great opportunity to learn what birds say “Who cooks for me\, who cooks for you all?” as well as meeting other raptors. \n\n\n\nPrograms such as Wings of Wonder are part of the Dark Sky certification requirements to maintain national status. We hope you enjoy these nature based and evening programs that keep us looking up into the night sky. \n\n\n\nThis evening program is all about raptors native to West Virginia: hawks\, eagles\, falcons\, and owls.  You’ll learn about the habitat\, diet and behavior of each bird presented\, the most common causes of injury to each species and the laws protecting these special birds. \n\n\n\nThere is no fee to attend. Open to the public\, the program lasts about an hour and is staged in the Activity Building at Watoga State Park. Questions are welcomed.
