DESCRIPTION:Chief Logan State Park invites you to the Tree-mendous Fun for Arbor Day on Friday April 28\, 2023 at 4:00p.m. Meet at the Museum in the Park at Chief Logan State Park. \nWe’ll walk on the museum grounds and the Fitness Trail to learn about common trees that grow in West Virginia. We’ll identify many trees found in the park\, learn the value of trees as a resource for wildlife and some folklore. An activity is also included as a take-home plant pounding craft. \nJoin naturalist Lauren Cole and volunteers for this Friday afternoon program. Youth and adults are welcome.
