Build your own paper binoculars to explore your sense of sight on a scavenger hunt. \nNext\, let’s explore the sounds we hear while outdoors and draw what they are! Super fun morning at Cacapon. Join us. \n1:30PMBird & Squirrel CraftJoin us for a fun make & take craft. \nSATURDAY\, March 4\, 202310:30AMMammals of the MonthCome and find out what the three featured mammals are in the month of March! Learn about their tracks\, traits\, and fun facts. Make-and- take a plaster cast foot print and enjoy some informational coloring sheets. \n1:30PM – Special Pottery ClassMACreate South Art ClassJoin this art instructor’s pottery class. Learn the ancient technique of hand building before the pottery wheel was created. The nature center is a great stop for all ages\, showcasing exhibits on the park history and the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) Camp Morgan 1934-41. Other West Virginia natural exhibits include an extensive taxidermycollection of wildlife- fish\, birds\, fox\, bobcat\, mountain lion\, deer\, elk\, and eastern grey wolf! \nAlso\, hands-on sand displays for wildlife tracks and a new geology interactive map to design your own mountains\, rivers and lakes.
