DESCRIPTION:A weekend of ballroom dance returns to Pipestem Resort State Park Nov. 18-20\, 2022 with dance instruction by Alicia Clark. The ballroom activities are in the Hudkins Conference Center at Pipestem’s McKeever Lodge. \nThe weekend activities include: \nFriday\, Nov. 18\, 2022\n7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.: Social w/ light snacks\nPre-Lesson Warm-Up – Let’s meet everyone & dance a little\n8:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.: Ballroom Dance Lesson #1\n9:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.: Ballroom Dance Lesson #2\n10:00 pm – Midnight or later. SUMMARY:Another Starry Night: Chief Logan
DESCRIPTION:Come out for an extra evening of sky-watching! Look through a computerized telescope at various celestial bodies including the moon\, planets\, galaxies\, and more. Learn seasonal constellations and other cool facts about the night sky of November 19\, 2022. \n\n\n\nJupiter\, Saturn\, Mars\, Leonid Meteors (plus 5 other showers) may be visible tonight. \n\n\n\nCloudiness may reduce visibility of celestial objects and cannot be helped. This activity begins at 6:30 p.m. and will conclude by 8:30 p.m. and is staged at the fire pit at Chief Logan Lodge. There is plenty of parking available. \n\n\n\nProgram will include creating a star wheel craft and a Moon Pie! \n\n\n\nParticipants of all ages are welcome. No fee to participate. Social distancing must be maintained. Mask optional but encouraged. Program requires patience that may be difficult for younger children.
