DESCRIPTION:Unique programs at Cacapon include Kayaking 101\, tie-dye and All about Bats. Join Naturalist Valerie Chaney and summer team\, Garrett\, Allen and Mary and park volunteers at the nature center (unless another location is indicated)\, July 26-28\, 2022. \nTuesday\, July 26\, 2022\n9:30AM\nKayaking 101\nLearn basic kayak safety and enjoy a naturalist guided tour of the lake. Meet at boat docks. Kayaks are limited to ten. $5 each. Her program includes use of an echolocator that identifies different species calls. Her passion for bats comes from first hand experience with bat studies. Her program includes anatomy of a bat\, how to get a bat out of the house\, plans for building bat boxes\, and white-nose syndrome\, a devastating disease causing bat populations to decline.
