DESCRIPTION:Tomlinson Run State Park presents Three Rivers Avian Center (TRAC) on Saturday\, June 10\, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. Find this popular presentation at the Campground Shelter. The educational birds are a great opportunity to learn what birds say “who cooks for me\, who cooks for you all?” as well as meeting other raptors. \nThis afternoon program is all about raptors native to West Virginia: hawks\, eagles\, falcons\, and owls. You’ll learn about the habitat\, diet and behavior of each bird presented\, the most common causes of injury to each species and the laws protecting these special birds. \nThere is no fee to attend. Open to the public\, the program lasts about an hour and is staged in the Campground Shelter at Tomlinson Run State Park. Questions are welcomed. This is a family friendly event.
