Wild Edibles Festival

We have canceled this event for 2020. Watch for 2021 dates and we hope to see you at Watoga.

Visit Watoga for a taste of the wild! The event begins on Friday evening with a hike in Seebert on the Greenbrier River Trail at 3:00 p.m., followed by a presentation by keynote Speaker, Dianne Anestis at 7:00 p.m. at the Activities Building at Watoga State Park. Anestis’ program is on “American Indian Medicinal and Edible Plant Uses of the 17th & 18th centuries.”

Saturday festivities will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the Activities Building at Watoga State Park. The day includes informational workshops, various vendors, demonstrations, wild food, live music, opportunities to hike, and much more! A schedule of workshops will be posted at the Watoga Park Office one week prior to event.
