Wild and WonderFALL Hike
October 16 @ 9:00 am - 2:30 pm
Lace up your boots and get ready to view North Bend State Park as you never have before for our Wild and WonderFALL hike this October 16, 2021 at 9:00 a.m.
Join park naturalist Adam Wissner NAI/CIG to explore the rolling meadows, old railroad lines and serene forests of North Bend State Park on this 6-½ mile hike. Whether you are looking to tie on a couple of miles for the weekend or participate in your first longer hike, this is the perfect opportunity for an elevated hiking experience!
Your journey will climb hills, walk through changing sight lines, and will take approximately 5 hours. Due to the length and nature of the activity hiking boots, bags, extra water, extra food, and any other personal hiking necessity is strongly suggested. Return shuttles located at two separate points in the hike for those wishing for a shorter experience. A lunch/snack break will also be included in this hike, but the food will not be provided. A patch will be awarded at the completion of this event. If you are part of our NBSP Trail Traveler program this hike will knock five trails off of your list!
The hike begins at 9:00 a.m., October 16, 2021 and meets at the Cokeley Boat Launch parking lot. Registering to participate is requested. To sign up for this activity please call North Bend State Park lodge front desk at 304-643-2931.
