Join the naturalist to hear about our Blackwater Stargazers topic of the month. On April 8, 2024, a once in a lifetime astronomical event will occur in parts of the United States: a total solar eclipse. Although the path does not include West Virginia, we can still enjoy a partial view (with eye protection).
The first 50 participants receive a free pair of observation glasses. Write a letter to your future self, create a family time capsule or have fun with one of our craft activities. Bring a lawn chair for viewing outside.
