The Cacapon Nature Center is open from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Activities start at the Nature Center unless indicated. Other outdoor activities include:

9:15 a.m. Meet the Horses of Cacapon: Stop by the Triple “C” Outfitters to meet and learn about one of the horses here at Cacapon. Meet at horse stables. (20 minutes)

10:30 a.m. Spirit of Cacapon is a short walk to discover how the “CCC boys” — the Civilian Conservation Corps — left its mark on Cacapon. (1 hour)

1:00 p.m. Amazing Amphibians: discovers the many different and unique sounds of the frogs here at Cacapon. A craft to follow. (30 minutes) YPP

2:30 p.m. WV Tree Challenge is a way to learn some basic concepts on tree identification. Choose from a variety of ID books and correctly identify the flagged trees in this challenge. (45 minutes)
