Watoga State Park Firefly Series: In Search of the Blue Ghost - May 24, 2025

Join the park naturalist as we go on a nighttime hike in search of the rare Blue Ghost (Phausis reticulata) firefly. You’ll experience a naturalist lead hike under the cover of Watoga’s dark skies to seek out a native, yet elusive firefly. We ask that you leave your flash cameras and flashlights behind, and wear comfortable hiking shoes. This event is free and open to the public.
