Walk Among Wildflowers at Chief Logan
Wild About Wildflowers is another opportunity to spy spring wildflowers with a park naturalist.
Join park naturalist Lauren Cole at the flag pole at Chief Logan Lodge at 10:00 a.m. to head out on an easy walk to see the spring wildflowers. The pace is easy because we stop to look for and talk about spring blooms and relationships between flora and fauna in West Virginia. We’ll look around for about an hour. Join us.
Free to attend and open to the public, this is a good program for folks in garden clubs, hiking groups, master naturalists, or generally curious folks. Families looking for an outdoor activity to learn more about spring wildflowers with youth are encouraged to participate.
