Twin Falls WonderFALL Walk
Brisk fall weather invites hiking at Twin Falls Resort State Park for a WonderFALL walk. Starting at the Falls Trail parking lot at 10:00 a.m., meet Naturalist Tammy and friends for a little less than two miles of walking in late October. The Falls Trail is featured and showcases the two waterfalls at this state park – the twins are about 1/4 mile apart and the water sources are from two different streams. We’ll stop and talk about falls history, but the WonderFALL idea is to simply walk or hike outdoors for the joy of the activity.
There is no fee to attend, however masks are required when we get started and as social distancing occurs when the walk begins, hikers may determine mask use. Wearing a mask protects the people you are interacting or talking with. If you are opposed to mask wearing as requested and hand sanitizing when possible, you should not attend this activity.
Wear comfortable and closed-toe walking or hiking shoes and dress for the weather, long pants are recommended; in October we never know what weather holds, but if you show, we go! Sandals or flip-flops are not appropriate for this walk as this beautiful trail is rocky in some sections. Following the hike, everyone participating gets a WonderFALL Walk patch.
