Twin Falls Trails Day Hike

We’re celebrating National Trails Day at Twin Falls Resort State Parks with guided hikes on Still Run Ridge Trail and Cliffside Trail.

Still Run Ridge Trail Hike
Meet at the ball field at 1 p.m. Hike leader is Ken Zebo, Assistant Superintendent. The total distance is 2.5 miles, rolling terrain that meanders through forest and through old field that are flooded with butterflies due to wildflowers and grasses.

Cliffside Trail Hike
Meet at the Cliffside Trailhead which is located behind the Campground Contact Center. Hike start time is 5:00 p.m. Hike leader is David ‘Bug’ Stover. This is a three mile hike with the first half being nice and gentle walking along the ridge top. On either side of this trail is The Old Growth Forest with some of the largest trees at Twin Fall State Park. Once hikers reach Buzzard or Canada Cliffs, which is a little more strenuous walking, the views are breath taking.

Please wear good walking or hiking shoes or boots. Consider carrying water. We’ll observe social distancing and take advantage of great afternoon and early evening hiking.

American Hiking Society’s National Trails Day ® (NTD) is a celebration of America’s magnificent Trail System, occurring annually on the first Saturday in June.
