Twin Falls Activities

10:00 a.m. – Creek Critters!
Meet park Naturalist Tammy Cooper at the Twin Oaks trail for an exploration of the small stream that flows from the mountains. We make it a point to get our feet wet. Allow 1 hour for this activity. Bring your own water and bug spray.

1:00 p.m. – Scavenger Hunt!
Meet at the Cliffside trail parking area for a walk along the trail to see who can find items listed on the printout. First person to find all the items in the allotted time wins a prize! Bring your own water, and bug spray. Allow 45 minutes for this activity.

2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. – Nature Center will be open, we are faced with limiting guests and public entry to 4 people at a time, we encourage everyone to wear a face covering upon entry, please do not touch displays. The nature center does not have a public restroom.

It’s West Virginia Day WOOT WOOT!!

10:00 a.m. – 100-Inch Hike and Discovery.
Be your very own detective as you section off 100” inches and stake claim to your tract of land. Investigate the topsoil to see what critters call it home or may be just passing through, dig a little deeper to see what lives below. Meet park Naturalist Tammy Cooper at the Nature Center for this activity. Allow 1 hour. Bring your own water and bug spray.

1:00 p.m. – Anything and everything Blue and Gold, but yellow will do too!
Meet at the campfire circle and be ready to hit the park running as you team up or go it alone, anything and everything Blue/Gold or “Yellow” goes (Flowers, Clothes, Painted objects, Cars, Trucks, etc.), whatever it is take a picture. Whoever has the most pictures of blue/gold/yellow “Things” wins a prize! This activity will last 30 minutes.

2:00 p.m. – West Virginia Documentary “The Road to Statehood”
Meet in the Monarch Lobby for this 45-minute documentary on how West Virginia became a state.

7:00 p.m. – Campfire & Weiner Roast
Meet at the campfire circle. See information posted at the park regarding this activity.
