The Nature Center at Blackwater Falls State Park will be open from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The following activities are planned:

• 9 a.m. Spruce Bogs and Berries Walk with Naturalist Paulita Cousin. Start at the trailhead of the Gentle Trail. Activity lasts about 70 minutes. Pet friendly.
• 11:30 a.m. West Virginia Snakes program. Meet Pringle, the resident black rat snake, and Naturalist Paulita Cousin.
• 12:30 p.m. Craft time. Materials fee is $1 to $2.50, depending on your craft choice.
• 2 p.m. Craft and Christmas Movie. Jump start your Christmas spirit by making an ornament and enjoying a classic film. Activity lasts about 1.5 hours. Craft fee is $2.
