Trees of Our Heritage Holiday Kick Off at Blennerhassett Island
The Blennerhassett Museum of Regional History will be decked out for the holidays with more than 40 trees representing countries and cities from around the globe. The Museum of Regional History will host an open house on Sunday, November 12th, from 1-3 p.m., to kick off this unique holiday display. Admission to the open house is free for this afternoon only. Entertainment and light refreshments provided, and even Father Christmas will be onsite for children of all ages to meet and take a photo with. Holiday craft time for youth participation. Entertainment by Pam Salisbury, Vienna Elementary Choir, Smoot Theater Barbershop Singers and the Parkersburg High School Chamber Ensemble.
The exhibit will be in place through December and regular admission will apply ($4 for adults and $2 for children 3-12. For more information, please call the park office at (304) 420-4800.
