10:30 a.m. Milkweed for Monarchs
Help scatter milkweed seeds into our wildflower fields! What fun it is to be helping establish more milkweed for Monarch habitat and to help us feel better by getting outside and active.
2:00 p.m. Middle Fork Cabin Hike
Join the park naturalist for a hike to some of the park’s seasonal cabins. Tour several cabins to view the recent upgrades of these historic cabins built by the Civilian Conservation Corps. If you’ve never been inside one of these iconic cabins, this is a new opportunity.

The CCC boys left a legacy that can still be enjoyed all over WV in the forests they planted and parks they helped to build. Meet the Naturalist at the Nature Center to watch a movie into this WV legacy. (30 minutes)
