WILD, WONDERFUL TROUT of WV PRESENTATION
Meet Jared at the nature center for a short presentation on trout found in our state. A true angler, you’ll enjoy this naturalist’s insight on trout in WV. YPP
FIELD AND FOREST STROLL
Meet Julie at the stables parking lot to examine one of our new pollinator zones and take a peek to see what we might find in the forest.

Meet Jared and Bob at the fire pit behind the Amphitheater for a fire-starting activity with flint and steel. Getting that fire going leads to roasting marshmallows. YPP
SATURDAY, July 31, 2021
COUNTRY ROAD WALK
Meet Bob at Park Headquarters for a walking introduction to some of Pipestem’s pre-park history. We will walk along the road and go into the woods to look for old farms and foundations. (1 ½ hours) YPP
VALLEY BLUEGRASS BAND
Valley Bluegrass Band is a traditional bluegrass band from southern WV and was formed in 2005 featuring Larry Cox, Russell Barbour, Eddie Cales, Allen Lawson, and Tommy Crigger. Many of the members have been performing bluegrass music for over 50 years. Eddie Cales has been hailed as one of the best traditional dobro players in the country. Come and enjoy some genuine traditional bluegrass music from the mountains of West Virginia.

SUNDAY, August 1, 2021
Join us in the Amphitheater for Sunday service. (1/2 – 1 hour)
Bob will be at the Nature Center and handing out a list of objects outside to look for in Nature. Youth, families and friends welcome to join in the fun. (1/2 – 1 hour) YPP
ONE EYED JACK BAND
A Rhythm & Roots Showcase Series Concert
Live music at an outdoor amphitheater is an evening of entertainment. Pipestem Resort State Park and Greenbrier Brewing Company present One Eyed Jack Band. About Rhythm and Roots Showcase performers:
One Eyed Jack is a classic rock cover band from Peterstown, WV, formed in 2008. They play music they love and love to entertain. Come out and enjoy some Southern Rock! Gates open at 6:30 p.m. Live music starts at 7:00 p.m.
Advance ticket sales for One Eyed Jack concert are $10, and, at the gate, tickets are $15.
