Snakes of WV at Cacapon
Snakes Alive is a great program with WVDNR biologist Jim Fregonara. You’ll learn about the importance of snakes and their habits and get an up-close look at a Black Rat snake, Cornsnake, Milksnake, and Gartersnake and from a little farther distance, WVs only two venomous snakes, the Timber Rattlesnake and Northern Copperhead. Its an educational opportunity for all ages.
One of Cacapon’s most popular special events, join us at the Bath House (Beach Parking Area) at 7:30 p.m. This interpretative program is free to attend and open to the public.
