Rendezvous/Living History Encampment at the Wildlife Center

The 4th Annual Rendezvous includes re-enactors from Pre-Colonial days through the Civil War era to camp on the area at the WV Wildlife Center. There will be interactive demonstrations of gunsmithing, bead work, fire starting, cooking, knife making, leather working, and other skills. The Wildlife Center is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and regular admission fees apply. For more information about the West Virginia Wildlife Center, call 304-924-6211.

When staying in a cabin or camping at Holly River State Park, plan a short drive to the WV Wildlife Center managed by the Wildlife Resources section of the WV Division of Natural Resources. Learn more at http://www.wvdnr.gov/Wildlife/WildlifeCenter.shtm. Directions to the WV Wildlife Center: From Holly River State Park entrance, take a right onto Rt. 20 North. At the “y” at Rock Cave, take a right and continue on Rt. 20 North. Wildlife Center is approximately 4 miles on the right.
