Quilters’ Retreat with Debbie Walker
This three-day retreat will give you hands-on experience with quilting. Registration is required for each workshop, as space is limited. Workshop classes include:
Disappearing 9 Patch – This half day class is a great beginner class which will allow you to create your own 53×65 quilt with 1 border. Participants can choose their 2 colors they wish to use once they register. Cost of this workshop is $55 which includes all materials. Thursday, April 11.
Fancy Braid Table Runner – The beginner level class will show participants how to make, and will also give you the tools needed to make your own table runner made from batik. Cost of this workshop is $30 and includes all materials needed. Thursday, April 11.
Roundabout Stars Quilt – Offered as a full day class, this intermediate level class allows you to have the opportunity to create a 53×53 wall hanging with 1 border. Participants will also be allowed to choose 2 colors they wish to use once they register. Cost of this workshop is $55 and includes all materials. Friday, April 12.
Old Fashioned Quilting Bee – Join us for a quilting bee where we will have 2 separate quilts that can be worked on at the same time. While it may not be finished, your work will go towards making memories, and there is no need to bring any materials. There is no monetary cost to this, but participants are encouraged to bring their favorite pot luck dish to be enjoyed by fellow participants as well. Saturday, April 13.
