National Public Lands Day is a collective act of care that strengthens our connection to the landscape and to each other. Through service and celebration, we acknowledge our place as custodians of these shared treasures, ensuring the American tradition of public lands endures for those who will inherit them. This year, there’s even more reason to show up. National Public Lands Day (NPLD) falls during a landmark year as America celebrates its 250th anniversary. What better way to mark the occasion than by giving back to the public lands we all share.
Join the park superintendent at Tu Endie Wei State Park for a day of volunteerism in cleaning up the park. Work will include litter removal, fall flower plantings, and weed removal. The park will provide all of the tools, gloves and equipment.
For more information, please contact the Tu Endie Wei park superintendent at (304) 675-0869.
