Nature up-close activities open to the public at Chief Logan State Park.

Turtle Talk and Trek
Meet at the Park Museum at 10:00 a.m. Learn about our native turtles and a pledge you can take to help them all. This activity includes a Cliffside Trail hike and a short walk long the main green.

Wildlife Exhibit Tours
From 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., Naturalist Lauren Cole will be leading exhibit tours every half hour on the dot. Meet at the gazebo and come through on a guided tour learning about native wildlife, wildlife habitats, and the live animals in the exhibit area.

Meet Our Moths
Meet at Chief Logan Museum at 8:30 p.m. to look for and observe moths. Using a sheet and a special light, come for a unique opportunity to see moths and other insects up close! Learn about native moths and other native insects. Program is from 8:30 p.m. -10:00 p.m.
