Nature up-close activities open to the public at Chief Logan State Park.

Saturday, August 15, 2020
Turtle Talk and Trek
Meet at the Park Museum at 10:00 a.m. Learn about our native turtles and a pledge you can take to help them all. This activity includes a Cliffside Trail hike and a short walk long the main green.

Wildlife Exhibit Tours
From 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., Naturalist Lauren Cole will be leading exhibit tours every half hour on the dot. Meet at the gazebo and come through on a guided tour learning about native wildlife, wildlife habitats, and the live animals in the the exhibit area.

Starry Saturday at Chief Logan Lodge
Look through a computerized telescope at various celestial bodies including the moon, planets, galaxies, and more. Learn seasonal constellations and other cool facts about the night sky. Activity is from 8:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. at Chief Logan Lodge fire pit area.
