Tree-mendous Fun
Join Park Naturalist Lauren Cole at the Museum in the Park for a gentle hike on the Cliffside Trail. This beginner trail lasts about 1 mile, and the hike finishes on a walking trail along the main green for a total of about 1-3/4 miles. On the way, participants will learn identification of common hardwood trees and complete a “plant pounding” craft as a take-home item. This tree-mendous activity begins at 10:00 a.m.

Wildlife Exhibit Tours
From 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., Naturalist Lauren Cole will be leading exhibit tours every half hour on the dot. Meet at the gazebo and come through on a guided tour learning about native wildlife, wildlife habitats, and the live animals in the exhibit area.
