WALK IT OFF HIKE
11:00 a.m. Day After Thanksgiving Hike
Meet at the Nature Center to enjoy a healthy hike after enjoying all the holiday turkey! We’ll hike the Laurel Trail which is about 2 miles in length.
1:30 p.m. WV Wildlife Pelts
Stop by the nature center to experience a variety of wildlife pelts firsthand. Check out our new additions this year, fisher, black bear, raccoon, deer!

Enjoy a close-up view of a variety of winter visitors to the nature center’s bird feeder, maybe a goldfinch or woodpeckers such as red-bellied or red headed. Learn what they look like and how they sound!

Let’s take a hike on the Cabin Loop Trail and discover any sights or sounds of our feathered friends.

Tai Chi helps to increase balance, flexibility, and focus on connection to mind, body, and spirit. Join park volunteers at the Nature Center.
Nature Center is open 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. daily on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Planned activities begin at the Nature Center. Nature Center will be closed mid-week. Hiking trails are open. Enjoy the park trails at your own pace.
