National Trails Day Hike at Cass Scenic Railroad
Take a hike at Cass Scenic Railroad today on National Trails Day. American Hiking Society’s National Trails Day® (NTD) is a celebration of America’s magnificent trail systems occurring annually on the first Saturday in June.
This guided hike departs from the Cass Visitor Center at 6:30 p.m. and will be roughly 3 miles round trip and takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete. Dress for the weather, closed-toe shoes are recommended and maybe a little bug spray.
The National Trails Day Hike at Cass is on the Greenbrier River Trail. The trail surface is finely crushed gravel on even terrain.
