National Trails Day at North Bend

Over the creek and through the woods to the overlook we go.
Celebrate National Trails day with us at North Bend State Park as we hike the Overlook Trail. On this guided hike we will be searching for plants, wildlife and rock formations along the way. This hike is approximately 1.2 miles with some steep graded hills. We will take our time and this hike will last about an hour.
Meet Naturalist Adam Wissner at the Overlook trailhead at 12:00 p.m. Be sure to wear sturdy closed toed shoes, bring some extra water and dress appropriately for the weather. Masks will be asked to be worn when social distancing is not possible, or we are gathered in groups. This hike an be used to check the Overlook Trail off of your NBSP Trail Traveler punch card!

Please dress appropriately with sturdy boots. Open-toed footwear is discouraged. Bring water and bug spray if desired. Earn your trails day patch at the conclusion of one of these hikes.
