National Public Lands Day Hike: Kanawha State Forest - September 27, 2025

Celebrate health, nature, and community on National Public Lands Day. Join KSF Naturalists Jess Blalock and Tiffany Jarrett for an interpretive hike on a portion of the Davis Creek Trail, where we will discuss the aquatic ecology of Kanawha State Forest and identify different plant, animal, and insect species that call it home! The hike will be approximately 1 1/2 miles round trip (.75 mile one way); hiking boots and/or waterproof shoes recommended (please, no flip flops)! Meet the Naturalists at the Nature Center.
