National Public Lands Day – Elk River Trail - September 26, 2026

📍Elk River Trail Visitor Center

Participants should meet at the Elk River Trail State Park Visitor Center by 10 a.m. to assist the park superintendent and staff in an invasive species removal project. Volunteers fill focus on removing Japanese stiltgrass, autumn olive and other invasives. Light litter cleanup will also be included. A seated station will also be set up to allow participants to create native wildflower seed balls which will be planted along the trail.
