Moths of Chief Logan State Park

National Moth Night is July 21-29 and Chief Logan State Park naturalist, Lauren Cole invites you to Chief Logan State Park Office/Museum to discover the many moths of Logan County. The illuminated sheet and lighting invites these insects to visit and allows us to observe, identify, learn about, and take their picture. From the largest Imperial moth to the smallest Geometrid moth, be sure to stop by to admire their beauty and learn about the important role they play in our park’s ecosystem. Starting at 8:00 p.m., Cole will host the activity until around 10:00 p.m.
