Spring Forward: A Primer on Spring Wildflowers of West Virginia
Are you excited to experience the beauty of the mountain state this spring, but not sure what you’re looking for or finding? Join Naturalist Lauren Cole for a photo and conversation presentation on what wildflowers appear on our hillsides in the spring and how to identify and view them. Open to the public. Fee Free. No registration.
11:30 – 2:30 p.m.
Lauren Cole creates and hosts an interpretive short program about a specific flower, tree, animal, insect or activity. Wild Sunday today is about butterflies and making an origami butterfly to take home. Wild Sundays coincide with Sunday Buffets at Chief Logan Lodge and share information with families, adults or youth to encourage good stewardship of our natural resources and the mission of West Virginia’s state parks and forests.
