Mid-week activities invite you outside for geology, butterflies and bears. The nature center is typically open from 9:15 a.m. until 4:45 p.m. unless noted. Activities begin at the nature center unless indicated. You’re invited.

Join summer naturalist to learn about ferns
along this 1.5 mile hike. YPP

Join the summer naturalist to use a variety of nature guides.

1:00PM Creation of Cacapon
Discover Camp Morgan, and the CCC boys who built this park nearly 85 years ago. Take a short walk through the park, followed by a film on the 1930’s Civilian
Conservation Corps. YPP

Young People for Parks (YPP)
Young People for Parks (YPP) is a nature based activity program conducted at multiple state parks throughout the summer months. Geared for youth ages 6-16, participants attend and participate in a minimum of three designated programs to achieve YPP status
