Mark Twain is History Alive!
Mark Twain is one of America’s most celebrated authors and humorists. He is best known for novels, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, but his work includes nonfiction, magazine articles, and commentaries that provide insight into the American story. Mark Twain was the pen name of Samuel Clemens.
Doug Riley portrays Mark Twain at 1:30 p.m. at the Brick Shelter on Blennerhassett Island. The program is free and open to the public to attend.
History Alive! presentations are made possible by the WV Humanities Council.
