Let’s Sing “The West Virginia Hills”

June 20th is West Virginia’s 156th birthday. If you’re visiting Tygart Lake State Park today, plan to join the Jacob Jackson, Park Naturalist, summer naturalist Emory Armstrong and Amber Bradley, Ben West and other park staff at 11:00 a.m. The new lodge patio is the location as Tygart Lake celebrates West Virginia with the singing of “The West Virginia Hills,” the oldest of West Virginia’s four official state songs.

Song sheets provided. If you can’t sing, hum, and if you can’t hum, smile, but join us on June 20 at 11:00 a.m.
