Jonben Slate Concert: Pipestem Amphitheater

Live music is an invitation to the outdoor amphitheater at Pipestem Resort State Park, June 18, 2022. Jonben Slate band preforms a diverse mix of classic rock, country, and blues and can be heard at festivals, reunions, and similar events around southern West Virginia. The concert starts at 8:00 p.m. at Pipestem’s outdoor amphitheater. Plan on two hours of great music. Advance tickets are $3 and at the gate is $5. Tickets may be purchased at Pipestem’s McKeever Lodge front desk or at the gate.

About Jonben Slate:
The band’s name is a reference to the old slate dump they grew up playing on near the historic coal mining town of Jonben in Raleigh County, WV.

Hinton, West Virginia-based, Jonben Slate is comprised of Keith Mills on vocals, guitar, and keyboard; brother Leslie Mills on lead guitar; cousin Susan Duncan on lead and backing vocals; cousin Zane Mills on guitar and bass; Cousin Cameron Stracener on drums and vocals; and adopted brother Rick Moorefield on bass.
