Honey Bee Day

It’s HONEY BEE DAY! At Blackwater Falls we’ll explore the Wonder of Bees in honor of the honey bee, discover the importance of bees to our ecosystem, threats they experience and conservation efforts in this interpretive talk at Blackwater Falls Nature Center at 2:30 p.m.

Program includes a leisurely stroll to scout for bees in the nearby pollinator garden. Bee-careful bee-cause you’ll also learn what wildflowers are food sources for bees, a little about honey, and more. About 1 hour program and one of our YPP activities.
