Holly River Spring Clean-up
Holly River State Park is debuting a spring clean-up. It’s a Make-It-Shine Day that begins at 8:00 a.m. for a full day of volunteer service that includes lunch, concludes at 4:00 p.m. Event will be held rain or shine. Please wear boots and work clothes. Volunteers preregistering to participate receive free camping for Friday, March 27 and Saturday, March 28, 2020. “For families that cannot camp with us on Make-It-Shine Day, a free camping certificate for two nights will be given to the group or family at the end of the clean-up day (1 per family). All participants must pre-register for a campsite to be included in the free camping weekend.
WV Make-It-Shine Statewide Cleanup is a collaborative effort by Department of Environmental Protection and the Division of Highways that teams with organizations or other agencies for spring cleaning. Holly River State Park takes great pride in continuing to Make West Virginia Shine.
