History Alive! Peanuts Creator, Charles Schulz

A great evening program at Beech Fork State Park finds James Froemel portraying Charles Schulz, the creator of the famous “Peanuts” comic strip and one of the most iconic cartoonists of our time. The 7:00 p.m. program is open to the public. Froemel as Schulz will tell the story of Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the rest of the gang that gave him a connection to audiences through his humor and wit that lasted nearly 50 years. An exciting and interesting new way to experience history! History Alive! is made possible by the West Virginia Humanities Council. Attendees arriving as any Peanuts’ character or wearing Peanuts apparel win a fun prize. Enjoy the fun at Beech Fork State Park activities room at 7:00 p.m. Free for anyone to attend and open to the public.
