“Walk Between the Parks” begins at 9:00 a.m. from Canaan Valley Main Lodge and is the highlight of the day. Other activities will include “Walk-A-Mile” contest and alternative (shorter, interpretive) walks. The registration fee includes an event memento, cookout lunch (halfway point on the “Walk Between the Parks”), and shuttle service from Canaan Valley Resort State Park.

Participants will be shuttled to the walk area. The hike is physically challenging, as we will encounter rough terrain and water crossings. Waterproof shoes or boots, and clothing for changing weather conditions are suggested. Please pack a lunch, snacks or water.
