September’s full moon is known as the Harvest Moon according to The Old Farmer’s Almanac and is the name given to the Full Moon depending on the timing of the Fall Equinox. In 2022, September 22 is the fall equinox or the beginning of fall. This full moon name is attributed to Native Americans because it marked when corn was supposed to be harvested.
